In the Rotary Year 2015/16, The Rotaract Club of Nairobi Central started the Elimu Magerezani, formerly known as Vitabu Magerezani, project with the aim of improving basic education and
literacy in various prisons in Kenya. The main objective was to promote education and literacy to help communities develop which is a key area of focus within Rotary International.
